After payment, SSH and RDP appear in the console

Open console

Once a machine is connectable, the console gives out the address and the password. Before that it holds status, order number, facility and expiry date. Linux uses SSH, Windows uses RDP.

DGX Spark is reached over SSH.

Connection details follow the connectable state

While an order cannot be reached yet, the console lists only status, order number, facility and expiry date. The facility is Tokyo, Japan. At that stage there is no address and no password.

Address and password arrive once the status turns connectable. None of it opens while signed out, so “Open console” leads to the sign-in step first.

The password is masked with dots

  1. Reveal

The password sits beside the first address. Dots by default, plain text on request.

  2. Copy one

The password can be copied. Addresses copy one line at a time.

  3. Copy all

With more than one address, every line copies at once. SSH and RDP still take the first.

Addresses are listed apart

One IPv4 is included and up to 255 more can be added, 256 in total. They are split apart, de-duplicated and placed in a scrollable list with the total stated. The list has a maximum height, so anything beyond it scrolls inside the frame, and a keyword filter narrows it down. SSH and RDP always take the first line, and the rest never enter that command.

Tickets are answered inside the console

  1. Filing a ticket while signed out opens the sign-in step first.
  2. Fill in a subject and a description, then submit. Power, system and address questions all go here.
  3. Opening a ticket shows the replies, takes a further note, or closes the ticket.

Which address does the remote desktop use?

Picking Windows Server Standard or Datacenter switches access to RDP. Editions are 2019, 2022 and 2025. The remote desktop uses only the first address listed in the console. The language is whichever of English, 繁體中文 or 简体中文 was chosen at checkout.

Where is the password in the console?

The password sits next to the first address, masked with dots by default. It can be revealed and copied. Each address copies on its own, and with more than one they copy line by line.

How are several addresses checked?

One IPv4 is included and up to 255 more can be added, 256 in total. The console splits them apart, drops duplicates and puts them in a scrollable list that filters by keyword. SSH and RDP always use the first entry.

Where do submitted tickets appear?

The ticket list lives in the console. Opening one shows the replies, takes a further note, or closes the ticket. Filing a ticket while signed out opens the sign-in step first.

Are addresses and passwords visible before signing in?

No. Addresses and passwords only appear in the signed-in console, and only once the order is connectable. Opening the console or filing a ticket while signed out leads to the sign-in step first.

Do Linux and Windows use the same access method?

No. Free images use SSH, with Ubuntu 24.04 as the default. Picking Windows Server Standard or Datacenter switches access to RDP, in the 2019, 2022 or 2025 edition. Both use the first address only.
